Beautiful quality black oval natural freshwater pearls, sold by strand of approximately 15-18 beads (18.6cm long).
Freshwater pearls are created from a species of freshwater mussel whose cultivation is much easier and yields a higher output than with oysters. The technique used is also different and results in varied pearl shapes and textures. It is these irregularities that give them all their charm.
Use them in your bracelet or necklace creations, alternating them with gold beads, other heishi gemstone beads, or even with colorful seed beads!
